As part of the Erasmus+ staff mobility, Professor Mariarosaria Falanga from the University of Salerno, Italy, visited the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak from April 15, 2024, to April 19, 2024. Professor Falanga is an associate professor in the field of Physics of the Earth, planets, and atmosphere at the Department of Information and Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics (DIEM) at the University of Salerno. 

 

 

 

In accordance with the type of mobility, Professor Falanga held a series of lectures during the week, both for students and faculty members of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, on the topics of mechanical, acoustic, and electromagnetic waves, their properties, and possible applications. After the lectures, Professor Falanga answered questions from teachers and students, also pointing out the possibility of their participation in the Erasmus+ program. 

 

 

 

Moreover, Professor Falanga’s visit aimed to strengthen the international cooperation that has been ongoing for several years between the University of Salerno and the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, which was further solidified through her meetings with faculty professors. These discussions focused on fostering joint scientific research activities and advancing partnerships within mutual projects.
