Tijana Lazović and Veljko Jerotijević, first-year students of Information Technology at the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, participated in the IV Global Invention Forum held in Limassol, Cyprus, and achieved exceptional results. Tijana and Veljko, along with their colleagues from other faculties, with the support of the Scientific and Technological Park Čačak, presented their project "Smart Home."

The Smart Home features sensors for human presence detection, remote device control, and energy efficiency.

In a competition featuring 200 projects from 25 countries, the team from Čačak achieved remarkable success, winning four awards: the IFIA Best Invention Medal for Outstanding Invention, a Special Award from the World Invention Intellectual Property Association, a Gold Medal, and a Special Prize from the Global Invention Forum in Cyprus.

In addition to these awards, students from FTS Čačak, along with their team, have secured a placement at the International Salon of Inventions, scheduled to take place in Moscow in March 2024. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students for their outstanding achievements.
