Mihailo Knežević, a PhD student and assistant at the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, took part in the University of Delaware’s summer research program. This research program brought together international students as well as students from various parts of the United States.
The two-month program, which lasted from mid-June to mid-August, not only involved work on scientific projects but also facilitated cultural exchange between the students and provided them with an opportunity to become acquainted with the local culture.
Mihailo Knežević highlights that this experience was significant for his personal and professional development.
“My stay at the University of Delaware allowed me to work on the advancement of cutting-edge data encryption techniques. My visit was part of the University of Delaware’s summer research program, which has been attracting students from around the world for several years. Besides the academic aspect, this has been a tremendous life experience. I hope that this will mark the beginning of successful collaboration between our faculty and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware,” says Knežević.
Professor Gonzalo Arce from the University of Delaware, who visited the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak last year, expressed a desire to see more students from FTS Čačak participating in this program in the coming years.
