Katarina Mitrović, a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, participated in the international event called "Active Bodies = Active Minds: How to Infuse Erasmus+ Projects with Physical Activity", which took place from September 6th to 9th, 2024 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The theme of the event was the integration of physical activity into educational processes, with a special focus on projects within the Erasmus+ program. The goal was to show how physical activity can positively affect cognitive functions, concentration and productivity, both among students and teachers.
Katarina participated in workshops and discussions on the application of physical activity in educational programs, along with the exchange of ideas with experts from different countries. Significant contacts were made and cooperation was established with partners from Europe with the aim of future projects that will promote physical activity as a part of education.
This experience was very useful and inspiring, and Katarina recommends everyone to get involved in similar initiatives that encourage innovation in education and a healthy lifestyle.
